OMG | China's First Manufacturer to Obtain UL Certification for NACS Charging Cables

 With the accelerated upgrade of the global electric vehicle (EV) industry and unified charging standards, the North American Charging Standard (NACS) has become the mainstream in North America due to its compact design and efficient fast charging. As a dedicated player in China's EV cable sector, OMG took the lead in developing NACS EV cables, being one of the earliest domestic manufacturers to launch such products and obtain UL certification, providing compliant and reliable EV cable solutions with first-mover technical advantages.


Derived from Tesla's proprietary connector, NACS was opened up in 2022 and gained rapid popularity for its high compatibility and low cost. NACS EV cables require strict performance in high voltage, large current, temperature resistance and anti-aging, with high technical thresholds.
